Summary Report of “ New India Manthan : Sankalp Se Siddhi” Programme

The programme “ New India Manthan : Sankalp Se Siddhi” has been organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Moradabad on 30.08.2017. The chief Guest of this programme was Hon’ble MP Sambhal, Sri Satya Pal Singh Saini. The “ Sankalp “ taken under the leadership of Hon’ble MP with more than 800 farmers, District officers of Agriculture deptt., Veterinary deptt., etc. The main goal of sankalp se siddhi programme is seven points strategy of double farmers’ income by 2022. These points are

Focus on Irrigation along with adequate resource building.

Increase Production through Improved Seeds, Planting Materials, Organic Farming and Soil Health Card.

Strengthening warehousing and cold chain facilities to curb post-harvest losses.

Value addition through food processing.

Overcoming deficiencies in agriculture marketing through e-NAM.

Work on institutional loan to reduce risk and growth of agriculture sector.

Allied activities of agriculture like Dairy development, Poultry, Beekeeping, Fisheries, Agro-forestry and Integrated Farming System.

The above these points are to upgrade the knowledge of farmers in relation to their agricultural technologies, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary technologies, fisheries, Beekeeping, etc.
